Twisted Sistah is home-based beaded jewelry and bead supplies business started in 2002 by Leslie A. Pope. She has a B.S. in Fashion Design from Drexel University, where she received numerous awards for her designs.
Since graduation, she has studied with wire artists Mark Lareau and Dallas Lovett, bead artists Jeanette Cook and Karen Frankfeldt, polymer clay artists Pam Wyn and Jan Esteves, and knitwear designers Lily Chen and Nancie M. Wiseman.
Formerly a resident of Washington, DC, she now resides in University City with her two cats, a lynx-point Siamese named Fred and tortoise shell mixed breed named Minx.
